Marivette González Rivera is an experienced family law attorney and State of Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator, trained in Interdisciplinary Collaborative Law and Colorado Mediation. Licensed in Florida and Colorado, she currently serves as Of Counsel to the Conti Moore Law Firm, where she provides legal consultations and strategic guidance to prospective clients in both negotiated settlements and contested litigation.

With more than a decade of practice, Marivette has helped hundreds of families navigate matters involving custody, child support, relocation, modifications, prenuptial agreements, enforcement proceedings, paternity issues, and high-asset divorces. She has represented a diverse range of clients, including parents, business owners, and individuals with foreign decrees, always approaching each case with respect, compassion, and a commitment to solutions that protect family relationships and peace of mind.

Marivette understands firsthand how overwhelming family transitions can be. As someone who has gone through divorce herself, she relates to the financial, emotional, and relational concerns her clients face. She listens with empathy and provides both personal and professional guidance to support her clients' goals.
A native of Puerto Rico, Marivette earned her degree in Administration of Justice with a Criminology Certification from Rutgers University before serving as a Senior Probation Officer in Seminole County, Florida. In that role, she spearheaded the implementation of one of the state’s first GPS monitoring programs for offenders in collaboration with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. Due to her leadership and insight of the criminal justice system, she was appointed to criminal task forces including the Domestic Violence Task Force and the Sexual Offender Response Team (S.O.R.T.), earning recognition for her leadership in public safety and community engagement.
Her early legal career includes service as a public defender in the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orange County, Florida, where she represented hundreds of individuals in a variety of criminal law matters and litigated cases at trial to defend and protect her clients’ rights. In 2011, she founded and led The MGR Law Firm, PLLC in Orlando, successfully building and managing a respected family law practice and legal team that served a diverse clientele and expanded access to legal services within the community.

A respected leader, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando, Young Fathers of Central Florida, and as Vice President for District 4 of the Puerto Rican Bar Association of Florida. She has mentored law students through partnerships with UCF and area law schools, and has been recognized among the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in Central Florida by Vision Magazine and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer. She has been honored with the Orlando Style Magazine “Attorney of the Year” award and received numerous other community awards for her service. Her insights have been featured on Univision, Telemundo, and Orange County TV, and she has delivered keynote addresses including the “I Am Brave” Women’s Conference in Orlando.

Marivette recently relocated to South Florida to be closer to family and continues her mission of helping families through her role with the Conti Moore Law Firm.
